Claire hugged the jacket around her body. No vampires were on this street. She put her hood up over head even though it was dark out. She listened to her shoes clanking against the pavement. She felt the wooden stake attached to her belt. She hurried to get back to the human hideout. Then she saw something. A person in the shadows. Crap! she thought.

Coryn hadn't expected to see anyone that night. Pulling his hood up over his head, he slunk off into the shadows as he heard footsteps approaching. He wasn't human, so he should be safe, but the other vampires had never been very fond of him and he'd rather stay out of the way. He watched silently as the other person approached.

Serena Was walking around unsure of where she was going all she new was that she was fuming over the bastard who changed, her. She often did that. She snapped out of it when she saw two people, one, walking away, and one walking towards the other. She had no clue where she was right then. She stood back, and hid in the shadows in case anything got messy.

Coryn narrowed his eyes, slinking farther into the shadows. He smelt someone else approaching - another vampire. Looking around quickly, he moved silently, trying to figure out if the first person was human or not. They were downwind, so it was hard to tell. He was terribly thirsty. He hated going to buy blood, because all blood bought came from the blood farms, and - he shook his head fiercly, trying not to think too much about the blood farms and what had been his human family.

Serena Was thankful, for her being downwind. She could see that the other was thirsty. She backed away slowly, the farther she got, the harder it would be for him to smell her. She saw a flicker of pain in his eyes, She wasn't sure if it was because of his thirst or something else. Sh continued to stand where she was, and tried to keep calm, you never know what other powers people can have.

Coryn breathed slowly, fighting the thirst that'd been welling inside of him for days. Shaking his head, he turned away slowly, making his way along the edges of the shadowsand keeping for straying to far into the flickering street lights. He hated this miserable existance, what he'd become. He was tired.

The other Vampire turned away from her, then she bolted forward and launched on him. She wasn't Sure why she didn't continue backing away, but maybe she was bored, wanting a little excitement. OOOH! Maybe she could use her power if he ended up being to powerful. Sh e hadn't used her power in a while, she very rarely did. But i girl can't hold out for long, especially, whit a power as good as hers.

Coryn felt her come at him once he turned, but he was too preoccupied with haunting thoughts of the past to duck in time. He growled, baring his fangs, throwing her off and making a run for it. He'd rather avoid a conflict than battle someone, especially since he hadn't had anything to drink in a long while. He began to panick - what if the other vampire was on the police force, sent to take him down for his "suspected dealings with humans?" His mouth went dry, and he continued to run, hoping his tired legs could take him home before they caught up with him... he was tired and hungry, and he had no special powers save one; courage.

He started running and in her mind she was thinking *OH, NO YOU DON'T! I have had NOTHING exiting happen the past couple of weeks.* She concentrated her mind and stared at his back, thinking actually quite lightly *Stop, turn around*, and of course as he should have he stopped running and slowly turned around. She knew he wasn't sure why, just that he was turning towards the person who attacked him. Just one of the fun affects of her powers, they didn't even freak.

Coryn began to relax, feeling his feet become sluggish and weary, like he was running through thick mud. He knew he should be panicking, as his body took control of itself, turning him to face the stranger. He felt calm, too calm, and some voice deep inside of him told him to turn away, and run. Run, Coryn! Coryn felt something tug at his heart, visions of his mother, father and brother swimming before his eyes. Ever since they'd been taken away, he would have visions of them... he would wake in the night, screaming, begging, please, take me instead... Coryn, baby, run. He heard his mother's voice. But he could not respond. He got so sick of running. He blinked the haunting images away from his eyes and lifted his chin, facing his attacker. "What do you want?"

she saw pain flicker across his face, and she pushed a little harder. he asked eh r a question. Really a typical one, everyone asked that when they knew something wasn't right. Nothing really, I'm not really even sure why i didn't let you go. I just wanted something to do. The past weeks all i have done is almost literally nothing. She said with a shrug.I generally, don't use my powers, trust me. I just can't keep going with this insane nothingness, that has been going on!She added

Claire hid in the shadows as the two vampires fought. She had never been so scared in her life. As one of the vampires started to walk away, he suddenly turned and started walking back towars the other. One of them, the woman, spoke. A few seconds later,Claire stepped out of the shadows.

Serena looked a the girl who stepped out of the shadows, but put her attention back to the other vampire. She made the other vampire with her mind not attack the girl. She could tell he was thirsty, but she really didn't want to have to pull, him off of her. the Humans need to reproduce. All of them need to slow down on drinking. otherwise, they would have to resort to something else. Which wouldn't be fun.

Coryn let his shoulders slump, feeling tired and beat. He was so tired. He'd been tired for years. Ever since.... "Do whatever you want with me." He muttured, sighing. "I don't-" Something caught his eye, from behind the other vampire; a figure stepping from the shadows. He caught her scent, and his mouth started to salivate when he realised it was a human. He quickly looked back to the other vampire. He pretended he hadn't seen the human. Run, girl, run! He prayed silently.

Serena said to the other vampire that she doesn't really want anything. Hey why don't you come with me to my place? you look beat and i have some ...stuff to refresh you. she said glancing at the human and not wanting to creep her out for some reason. it was pretty much useless, she was a vampire, she was a human, vampire drink human blood....how could she not be creeped. When she asked the vampire if he wanted to come to her place, she stopped using her powers, she wasn't going to force any one to do something like that.
